I don't believe that Einstein was aware of the coordinate-free
way to define vectors and tensors.
The very fact that they are tensors means that they are coordinate
indepenant, i.e. their definition does not depend on a particular
cooridinate system.
...huh?
Oh come on! You mean to tell me that you don't understand the fact that
tensors are, by their very definition, objects that are independant of any
particular coordinate system? This is the reason that I'm plonking you. You
want to play with the big boys and you don't even understand the math that
you're trying to use.
Look up the term "manifestly covariant" and how its used. Then perhaps in a
few years I'll unplonk you to see if you've grown up and stopped flaming and
learned more about math and physics. Meanwhile you're too ignorant and
arrogant for me to want to deal with. Later.
