You are doing nothing of what you say....The only information
available to you is that you are receiving the light signals from
Earth once every four of your local years (your local calendar
tells you that four years has passed when you receive the first
flash from Earth).
So you only count the pulse and don't use your silly lightspeed
to know how long "it took" to get to you and add such to your time?
LOL
That is ane silly ass way to measure time..
LOL
Lets try this little silly thought.
A beam of light travels 100 lightyears.. (It will of course
take 100 years accoring to the light.)
Now.. if you took that same path at 1/2 the speed.
You don' think it would take you 200 yrs?
You actually think it would take longer?
You truly need to wake up some day.
If time slows for us, why would it not for light also?

First: You and also Sue have the funny idea that you can use the
rotation of Earth as a kind of absolute clock, when you are moving
at a very high speed (v=0.6c in this case). Well...you can't. You
have two problems: a) Doppler and b) time dilation. Doppler means
you will see a lower frequency of the light signals. Time dilation
will somehow compensate a little the Doppler effect.
You really don't get it huh?
Second: Of course, if you know relativity and you have some method
to measure your local ship speed and position, you could make some
calculations and determine the correct local time at Earth. But that
information is not relevant, besides being a tough problem to
determine your speed and location in the middle of nowhere, since
what you need is a razonable good local watch so you can continue
to do your daily routine.
Regarding your example, the calculation are simple: your ship
position is given by x=vt (a given line in the (x,t) spacetime),
while the light signal position is given by x=ct. So you have two
lines with different slopes and then it is easy to calculate the
intersection point (xo,to) where the light signal reaches the
spaceship. A more earthly example is: your are in a highway moving
in a car at 100km/hr at x=50km at t=10am when another car starts
moving at 400km/hr, at x=0km. At what time will the second car
reach the first car and in which location?
Oh man, you are so wrong you would be first to crash into
a planet that was not there yet because you realyl thought
your clock was wrong.
Do you even know when the clocks are brought back
together and they show different times on thier faces that that is
a clock malfuncton in the first order of the operation of the clock?
Do you know that when you uses such clocks for "travel"
you will end up hitting things that are not supposed to be there
yet according to such "malfunctioned" clock?
Do you know that saying both clocks operated correctly in thier
frames of reference ( like idiots of relativity church always say)
also refers to pendulum clocks and pendulum clocks can even
stop ticking completey with the wrong motion?
So according to you, when you swing a pendulum clock around your
head fast enough so it does not tick anymore
it is doing a lot of revs per 0 seconds according to
it's frame of reference?
It sure seems like you do not know any of those facts.
Maybe you should try to learn such and then you can re-join science
and start to use "single standards for time or distance" instead of
the joke you are worshipping right now.

So you do not have any argument?....just insults?
I thought so....
I gave the argument you can not prove is wrong.
That is your bad, not mine.
You do not even grasp a little of what traveling through space means.
Pendulum clock....why not sand clocks?
So, you completely ignore the fact that all clocks
are not immune to g-force changes.
That is some good ignorance you are showing to support
your church.
:)
