No, not really. I also have a pretty good idea of Dono's
identity, at least to the point that I can equate him with a
previous frequent poster.

But it really doesn't make any difference. We establish ourselves
on usenet by our behavior in our postings, whether we choose to
use a handle or our true names.

Those of us who prefer to use handles rather than our real names
all have different motivations. My motivation is very simple.
When I was born, my parents chose to name me after their favorite
president...
