Why does light propagates through transparent objects???
I dont understand!!!
If from lights point of view, it does not experience
time nor space, then the distance between an emitter and
a detector must be zero, so light itself cannot exists, but only
as ripple or physically contact resonance of their surface atoms
energy levels, or whatever they have at their surface
Consequently i am not able to understand!!!
When you watch an object, your eyes are in physical contact with
that object???
in the objects past???
in your own past???
ANd who is the own, you pupils, retina, your brain???
Who is in charge here!!!
Exactly! The charge! Particularly, the electric charges!
Electromagnetic waves, including light, can only interact with
electric charges. The electric charges in the photosensitive molecules
absorb the light energy, starting a chain reaction causing signals
that is sorted by our brain.
I think what you are really asking is "What is consciousness."
This is of course a very fundamental question, with many facets. A
great deal what makes consciousness seems to occur in the material
that makes up the brain. Although there may be aspects of
consciousness beyond that, the part that goes on in the brain is the
only part scientists can directly investigate. The idea that
consciousness resides entirely in the physical material of the brain
is a view that sometimes called materialism.
What happens in the brain is as much a question of epistomology as
of science. Scientific investigations usually emphasize materialist
views. For a purely materialist view, read the following:
"How Brains Think," by William H. Calvin (Phoenix Press,
ScienceMasters, Reissued 2001).
This book also contains interesting discussions of biology,
especially neurobiology. I think some of what you want to know is
better analyzed by neurobiologists. Or at least neurobiologists who
passed their introductory physics courses.
Thanks for your reply about the consciousness
But i rather donr understand the physical aspect of light
I dont even care what they are call it, wave or particle
I cant simply dont understand how it works, and why
If surface atoms are in physical contact from the light poing of view
How can she propagate through a transparent object, because that
object cannot be there in between sender and receiver
Than again, the consciousness as I understand, they dont define it
properly, and must be
holographic, somehow, because if you cut out a small part of your
brain,
your conscientiousness will still be there, entirely !!!
