I should have said 'derivation' from my gravity equation:
cdc/dr = MG/R^2
which if you separate and integrate you'll find simplifies to
delta c = MG/Rc = 6.3478e2 m/s or 635m/s as Brault found using
a Doppler based equipment.
His equipment blueshifted the ray back to normal with the given
velocity.
