I agree, but could you justify your answer?

Sure! This is what GR predicts. Moreover, we have literally zillions of
experiments and observations that confirm this sort of redshift for EM
signals propagating from lower to higher gravitational potential.

OK, but could you use GR to solve the following problem?
A clock situated at the center of the Earth ticks at a rate r.
If that clock could be brought at the center of the Sun, would
it then tick faster than r, slower than r or at r?
