Light is nothing more than the gauge boson to move things in three
dimension.
Other bosons can move some things in more dimensions
Move things in 3 dimensions? Perhaps you can clarify?
It certainly is a gauge boson - the simplest one there is based on a U(1)
symmetry ie the symmetry of a circle. It is almost trivial compared to
the symmetries of other gauge bosons based on SU(2) ((U1) + SU(2) is the
basis of the electroweak theory) and the SU(3) of gluons.
Thanks
Bill
Is SU(3) gluons the next possible simplest boson?
SU(2) is. But really any gauge theory beyond U(1) is non ableian and highly
non trivial. They are plain hard - at least compared to EM.
Thanks
Bill
