Wonderful that you would be so concerned, PD.
Robert B. Winn

Don't confuse an observation with concern, Bobby. I'm not the least
bit concerned.

You are truly a wonderful person, PD. An unconcerned wonderful
person.

Thank you, Bobby, I appreciate that. I wish I could pass the same
compliment on to you, but I have a little bit of difficulty getting
over the crankier parts of your personality.

Oh, yes, the Galilean transformation equations.

Well, actually, that was not what I was referring to.

A lot of scientists
do not like those equations, PD.

Oh, they're fine as mathematical equations go.
Unfortunately, they don't describe nature as they were intended to.
As a result, they have fallen out of use in cases where greater care
is needed.
They work pretty good for welders, though, and so a number of welders
like them.

Not just like them. We actually use them.

Yes, and that's because where you need to use them, the greater care I
mentioned is not needed.

There are times when useful approximations should be used rather than
the more rigorously correct calculation. This is what makes them
useful.

We notice this same
problem in the college graduates who design buildings. They have
trouble visualizing reality.

Yes, I've noticed the same thing about you. It must be catching.

PD- Hide quoted text -

Yes, all college graduates seem to have the same problem right now. I
only graduated from high school, fortunately.

And nevertheless, you seem to have the same problem. Or didn't you
catch that part?

It reminds me of a
verse in the book of Isaiah, The wisdom of their wise men shall fail.

Are you wise, Bobby? Or are you foolish?

College graduates are having a difficult time right now.

Well, it hasn't really changed much. Just a different mix of people
are showing up in the news. It sure seems like a bunch of non-college
graduates are also having a difficult time right now. I wonder if
that's because they think they're smart?

The false
teachings that they were so dilligent to learn are not holding
together.

Well, mostly it is because they are having to support a system that
takes from the poor and gives to the rich.  I think that they are
starting to learn that there is no return on their investment.

The poor always have the option of moving to Mexico. After all, the
poor in Mexico do the same thing when they find themselves supporting
a system that takes from the poor and gives to the rich -- they move
out of Mexico. Is this not an option for you, Bobby? You seem
considerably more well off than most of the Mexicans that have made
that sensible decision.

PD
