whatever propagate at whatever speed in whatever frame, you SHOULD be
able, then, to write down its equation of motion because it is merely
a translation in math of this very sentence.
The star is the only object in the universe.
However you look at it, a photon propagates away from where the star
*is* at 'c'.
If you add the earth and place it 100 light years away from the star,
when the photon reaches the earth, the photon has still propagated away
from where the star *is* at 'c'.
You should be able to understand this concept.
Do you know what an equation of motion is ?
If something is moving at velocity (vx,vy,vz) in a frame S, and if
its coordinates at time t=0 in frame S are x0,y0,z0, then its
equations of motion in frame S is :
x = t*vx + x0
y = t*vy + y0
z = t*vz + z0
Why couldn't you write down the equation of motion of a light ray
in both frames ?
The star is the only object in the universe, it fires off a photon.
After 300 years, you mark where the photon *is*.
When the photon gets there, where has it traveled from?
It has traveled 300 light years from where the star *is*.
You need to study reference frames so you do not look so silly.
If you add in the earth and it just so happens to wind up at that same
point as the photon, then where did the photon travel from?
It still traveled from where the star *is*.
Having the photon wind up at an arbitrary point in 300 years after it
is emitted from the star, or having it wind up being consumed by an
observer on the earth 300 years after it is emitted from the star,
does not affect its origination point or the path it travels.
Why can't you understand this?
We do understand it-- you are spouting nonsense.
