I don't know how Sakurai has driven the last identity 1.4.6 about
expectation value:

<A>= SIGMA_a' SIGMA_a" <al|a"><a"|A|a'><a'|al>= SIGMA_a'
a' |<a'|al>|^2

can anyone help me?
