categorified gauge theory

We have had several discussions about aspects of categorified gauge theory
here on spr.

I am about to finish my thesis, which in large parts revolves around the
issue of constructing a notion of well defined global surface holonomy that
would generalize the idea of "Wilson lines" from particles to strings and
from the abelian to the "nonabelian" case.
