Experiment

Hope this isn't a dumb request. I am an undergraduate student and in
one of the experimental subjects I was asked to choose an interesting
experiment.
The criteria were that I ought to be able to do it in 12-18hours and
that it had to be on classical physics and/or thermodynamics but not on
Quantum physics.
Do any of you have any suggestion?
