MME question

In Special Relativity the speed of light is constant, and time is a
dimension of space-time.
In General Relativity space-time is warped by mass. We found light
follows the warped paths through space-time.
Let's imagine General Relativity's idea without Special Relativity.
If we warp 3 dimensions of space, rather than the 4 of space-time, then
we still should have the effect of light, photons rather, traveling in
warped paths.
In other words, if something like Earth is moving through space, then
the light is moving with it.
Doesn't the notion of light adhereing to the law of gravity imply a
null result to the M&M ?
