The answer I think is no. If you believe in the pre-existing
metaphysical connection between matter and number, as set down in the
laws of physics, then the known behavior of matter can no more change
than pi could become rational. There is no need to even ponder such a
question. I think such self-absorbed speculation is a waste of time and
there is all too much of it today.
