Thanks bd, that was the very thing I was looking for. I'm reading
through Slansky, and it seems to have everything I wanted and much
more.

I think I was a bit unclear when I wrote (8v x 8v). What I meant was
the tensor product of the 8-dimensional vector irrep with itself, [not
(v + v + ...8 times) x (v + v + ...8 times)]. What I wanted was some
way to quickly/easily calculate the Clebsch Gordon coefficients.
