computation of scattering angle

Hi
I have a confusion about the computation of scattering angle(Theta).
Let us say incident direction is defined by (thetas, phis) and
scattered direction by (thetav,phiv).
cos(Theta) is defined as
cos(thetas)cos(thetav)+sin(thetas)sin(thetav)cos(phis-phiv).
If incident direction is the same as scattered direction, Theta is 0
degree. It should be 180 degree, isn't it?
Where is wrong?
Thank you very much in advance for this essential question.
Mike
