How 2 Shield An Electrical Extension Cord?

Will Copper Foil Tape shield a 100' electrical wire?. I have a 100'
electrical extension cord that snakes thru the bottom side of several
walls in a room, including under the bed. I use it to power my
AC/Heater. Will a coper foil tape prevent/shield the EMF/Radiation/and
other bad stuffs from escaping into the room?.
