Hi Jell-O Biafra,

I see entanglement every day at the macro level.

How can things be disentangled ?

For example, if two particles are entangled,
and you try to disentangle one from the other,
  well then,
wouldn't the other particle experience the same event
and hence still be entangled ? >>

Entangled pairs are that way from the very beginning,
so as soon as you know about one,
you know immediately about the other...
  Ideally, probabilistically.

It's about Your information, not physical processes.

But it's cooling that prevents decoherence,
  because high temperatures/pressures
cause " information " to dissipate faster.

i.e. The higher the temp the higher the entropy,
the more " information " is lost.

If you want to apply that
to the ( soft ) social sciences,
you could say that a higher consumption rate,
  ( e.g. a higher GDP ),
  causes information ( relationships )
to dissipate ( breakup ) faster.

I wonder if that's why richer a countries
  breed fewer children per capita.

Or is it just that living alone is the ultimate luxury ?
