Would be "no" and "no". Simpler is better for me, as you've probably
guessed.

As far as SR being flawless in the role of QED... doesn't SR say that
nothing travels faster than c, and doesn't QED say that photons can
travel faster than c?

Anyways, whats important is people's opinions on my first two
questions. Thanks.
