Hurricans happen every year about this time (ever heard the phrase
"hurrican season"?) and have been doing so for the past 2 or 3 hundred
years for which we have records.
By what incredible leap of logic does yet another hurrican in hundreds
of years of hurricans indicate "global warming"?
"Why cant we extract the energy..."; suppose you tell us your scheme
to extract energy from a weather phenomena spread across thousands of
square miles of open sea and what you would do with it hundreds of miles
from land.
