   Yeah, I already knew that. But you know, in many, many fields, one
does move up the lower rungs of bureaucracy just by keeping your nose
clean.

Patent Examining is not chopped liver, to coin a phrase. It is about
deciding which of the inventor's "claims" you will grant.

   Did Einstein do anything MEMORABLE as a patent examiner?

   If you were a Swiss Patent Lawyer in the early 19-teens, would you
prefer to have your submission come under review A. Einstein?
