   The predictions are undoubtedly from a theory of the redistribution
of geologic masses. Earthquakes in Japan are primarily connected to
volcanism; by measuring local gravitic changes they can map changes in
the underground lava chambers, which are precursors to seismic
activity.

   Japan is characterised by its overabundance of earthquakes. They of
all people ought to make expert geologists of themselves, for their
own welfare.
