It doesn't break down at all there.. it simply follows the normal behavior of
gravity there.. I said "to the floor" which I guess isn't obvious enough for
you, implying as it does that the experiment would take place on the surface...
but if you can actually get to the center of the earth to perform the experiment
I'll still give you a million dollars if you can show how any of the rules break
down.

However, if you can actually get there I think you'll make more money than that
since you will have invented methods and procedures which survive the trip.
