Actually you can't taste them at all. There is insufficient amount of them
to react with your taste buds.
You can sit at CERN with your mouth open at the end of the accelerator and
you should get a few, but it is a vacuum so it may be tricky. Also you
would have a proton stream go through your head for about 1/2 hour. I am
sure several pHs+doctors would become famous writing about you and what
happened to you.
