So, on that issue you have a full right and good reason
to complain, Al,.....but, no man is an island. Not even you.

Did you ever hear of the notion: "Cost of doing business"
The cost of doing biz in/with/for the society YOU live in includes
the expenditure of $3 billion/year for demands to maintain and
attempts to improving said society. Which is important.
Because if not done so, then your slum buddies will sooner or
later come looking for you at your house to steal from you.
You of course will run for your gun. Unfortunately for you there
are many more of them then you have bullets........ahahaha.....
I don't wanna give you nightmares here, or a Halloween scare
but you should consider such possibilities in your grand social
planning ......AHAHAHAHA.........

So, get over your simplistic Left vs Right, Gifted vs Stooopid notions
and live with the stark naked reality. Even better, spend some time
and educate some of your slum buddies. Show them by your
example what they could be.........ahahahahaha.......
Consider that a (good?) portion of that $5 billion/year NSF expenditure
is actually used by many gifted ones to study/work/monitor programs
like headstart. Get some of that money yourself and use it wisely......
