It's an absolute, uncontested fact of reality that a hostile witness
can reveal truth, even though he has every intent to vilify and attack
the truth. It's also believable that a hostile witness can be thanked
for demonstrating the real truth in a subtle way.

I don't recall lying about anything. I explicitly recall interpreting
a statement as positively as possible and in expressing a generous
