There is no difference in how the receiver (which is what the van
detects)
functions in a PC TV card, handheld TV, or 52 inch plasma TV.

Thanks Jim - I guess the only case-to-case difference would be in
enforcement then (ie actually tracking down someone with a
handheld!)
