I meant the whole posting, not the word resistance. What about the word,
 I found the expression "emotionale Widerstaende" in v. Weizsaecker's
book "Aufbau der Physik". Because the German vowel ae is missing at
English keyboards, I replaced Widerstaende by Abwehr and translated it
like resistance. Resilence is perhaps not what I intend to say. Wouldn't
it imply a sound elastic reaction of a spring? On the opposite,
emotional resistance rather resembles dull inertia, stupid hesitation,
and irrational distrust.
