Hi Rick, You asked me to re-expalin this statement of mine: <<
As much as I loath Rick, I owe a lot to him,
as fewer would read my posts if it wasn't for him. >>

I thought I answered that, What exactly do you want to know ?

Do you want to know if you're more widely followed than me
according to my PageRank(tm) variant ?

If so, I no longer run that code. Besides, who cares ?

[ Do you mean Roy Culley has never directly confronted you in Seattle ? ]
I'd be glad to... the next time I'm there. >>

Are you physically threatening me now Rick ? Chill out dude.

You wrote: << You can't have a discussion about Gates and group
being scared of Java/Netscape if you place the happenings in 1960. >>

No, it's merely You who can't have a discussion like that... I can.
I look at the bigger picture:
Why does FireFox now have a market value of zero dollars
when, in the late 90s, Netscape was supposedly worth 6 billion dollars ?

Re: Me still delivering code that I personally write and test,

You asked: " Beeg Deel. So what ? "

That's one reason I understand coding more than you do... that's what.

I told you: <<
Thanks to IE's integration with WinXP ( e.g. FTP ),
my web site looks and acts just like any other folder on my hard disk. >>

And you replied: <<
IE was integrated into 95, you idiot,
which was one of the reasons micro$oft ended up in court. >>

IE is still more integrated into WinXP than FireFox is,
Only IE can be automated from within C++ programs ( OLE ), for example.

You wrote: << Konqueror can browse the HD,
perform as a file manager, as well as browse the Net. >>

That's why so many people ( e.g. Bailo ) use it on Linux then,
OS-specific code is quite useful.
Speaking of that, Bailo claims C# is best because it's more cross-platform,
yet there he is, preferring Linux-only code... written in C++ no less.

Re: FireFox not being able to replace VS.NET, MS Office or IE-automation,

You replied: " No one has suggested it could. "

So you admit total defeat then ? I won this agrument, obviously.
