The reason there are Ten Commandments was a combination of factors.
1. Bad planning, there was no paper or pens available on top of the
mountain.
2. Given that there was no paper, stone tablets were selected as the
alternative.
3. One man had to carry the commandments down from the mountain. Given
that they were now stone tablets, a size and quantity limit was imposed.
4. The font size selected imposed a word count limit given the size and quantity
of the tablets.

Only ten commandments would fit.

It was luck for us that Moses didn't take a wagon.
Just think what could have happened if he would have had a portable
computer, word processor and a DVD burner.
