Why wouldn't sound be quantized if it results
from changes in energy. A Geiger-counter with
audio output has measured quantized energy. Just
because you don't hear a blade of grass screaming
in pain as you crush it beneath your heel doesn't
mean there was no scream :-)

Mark (Does a star output the full electromagnetic
spectrum from short wavelength gamma to long
radio waves? What is it that those antenna
arrays have been hearing from space, anyway;
infomercials?)
