Nothing odd about it at all. Ships are private property, just like cars
and real estate. TV producers can't show an automobile's license plate
without a release form, and the same goes for peoples' homes. So no,
there's nothing odd about needing permission to broadcast film of an
ocean going vessel.

If you can't let anyone see it, then it's pointless to post a link to a
ship you *don't* have. And it's the same with the new link you just
