On past holidays of 7Nov and 14Dec I usually posted a song such as
Handels Messiah of Hallejuhah only the words changed to AtomPlutonium.
Or Silent-Night becomes Science Night or Rock-of-Ages becomes "Atom
plutonium, fissioned for me, let me show myself in thee. But music,
although stirring and emotional wanes as we get older and the message of
serious spoken words becomes more important than the stirrings of music.
Like a bicycle can be the centerpiece of a youths focus of attention but
as we get older we seldom ride the bicycle anymore. The same with music
in that the passion of music should be a youthful activity and
participation but as we get older we should be growing up and out of
music.
But this year I will change in celebrating the 2 holiest days of the
year with a sermon.
And the sermon on my mind today involves two things that have reached my
attention. One is ORDER and the other is what is special about USA
history that built this great country but that now seems to be in a
decay mode. I will speak of the first, first because Order transcends
far beyond the details of USA history.
ORDER
This is not the first time I have lectured or sermonized on order for it
forms a folder in my website of www.iw.net/~a_plutonium under the
section of religion.
Order, I feel, is the key to Happiness. Unless we have order in our
physical life-- gutters fixed, cars running swell, family relations
smooth and no strife, work and job going smoothly, health in order, etc
etc then we are happy.
Happiness is order. I remember the last time I talked about Order as
equivalent to happiness someone replied saying that a criminal locked up
disproves the idea that order is happiness. I rejoindered to the
contrary, that a criminial has a mind that he or she is unable to
control and place order into that mind and so society thus and thereby
locks the criminal or puts to death the criminal because that is the
Order that they crave.
If each and every one of us examines why we do things the way we do
things it is clear to me that ORDER is the guiding principle, whether it
is physical order such as the physical sciences or whether it is
emotional order or feeling-order or social order or medical order. When
we are unhappy and sad is because there is a spot in the universe that
is lacking order.
Me personally: in the past weeks I have found that on those days that I
am the most happiest is a day in which I gain or able to put more of my
property in order. Example: on my door is a glass pane in which I stick
postum notes of 6 chores I expect to finish by the end of the month (1)
warehouse roof screws (2) new garage winterized (3) replace window sill
under dormer (4) make room and clean space for roof tin for new roof (5)
erect new storage shed and install (6) relocate twin-sheds. So the days
in which I seem to be happiest are the ones in which I am moving closer
to completing those 6 chores which I have self assigned myself. And once
completed then a new postum note will go on the door window of 6 new
chores to complete. I am so anxious to get that work done that when I am
stopped by a friend or neighbor to have say coffee or a beer and sit
down and talk for a while, that it must be frustrating for these kind
and good people because my nerves are such that I seem to spring out of
the chair after a few minutes and want to bolt towards the chore on my
mind for that day. Because I know that come evening if I spent the day
talking and relaxing and not getting anything in order that I will feel
miserable that evening.
Order is happiness. And God Almighty which is an atom that is the entire
Universe wants us to know that working is close to godliness. That by
working and making this world of ours just a bit more orderly is what
God wants us to do. The Bible is wrong when it says remember the sabbath
and keep it holy when people thence think that not working on Sundays is
what God wants. That is false. There was a religion in England, of which
I cannot remember their name, whether they were Puritans or Reformists
or whatever they called themselves. But they had one spiritual idea that
was right-on target. They believed that Sunday or Xmas were great days
to build a barn or mend a fence because they believed that worship of
God was in your work. That God is order and order is happiness and to be
close or near to God means work and putting this planet into better
Order. Not just doing work to gain money as a job but to do work of a
"perfectionist" such as the Shakers a religion sect that used to create
and produce some of the most perfect chairs and tables out of wood and
placed intricate design because their work was work for God.
USA history
Recently I saw a PBS documentary on Thomas Jefferson where several
historians were commenting alongside the factual narration of Jeffersons
life. But I believe that this Ken Burns documentary on Jefferson was
flawed with a large gapping hole. And that the people of the USA have a
large flaw in Washington DC as to paying homage and respect to those
that created this country, which after all was created from the hands of
God Almighty 231Pu.
The gaping hole is the missing of respect and honor to the largest
Founding Father of USA which was Ben Franklin. In Washington DC stands
various memorials. The Washington obelisk is good. The Jefferson
Memorial is good. But it has missing the greatest Founding Father of all
and the key to why the USA has become the superpower of modern times.
Lincoln should be honored but his honor should sit lower than that of
Washington, Franklin and Jefferson.
And this issue reflects on our modern day politics and why the USA is in
a decline or decay mode.
What set the USA apart from all other countries in 1776 was the fact
that for the first time in world history that a political nucleus of a
country was created and formed by people who put Science first and
foremost. Never before in human history did you have a country formed by
scientists. The USA in 1776 would be like England formed with Sir Isaac
Newton and several other British scientists. Or if Germany in 1870s had
been created by Gauss and a group of German scientists. Or if Russia in
say 1800s had been created by Mendeleev and a group of Russian
scientists.
You see, the USA was blessed because its Founding Fathers were
scientists foremost. The Ken Burns documentary says that Jefferson was a
scientist but never develops or even understands how important of a fact
that was in the creation of this country. And the historys written about
Washington or Adams or Madison or Hamilton or Jefferson rarely mention
the idea that Franklin was the Grandfather of this country and Franklin
was foremost a scientist. Franklin was a man of LOGIC and the next best
thing to Franklin was Jefferson. So the creation of the USA was a act of
creation where SCience and Logic were the foundation and building block
of this country.
Contrast that with present government of the Bush administration where
he wants Christian religion to be the heart of USA politics. I think the
founding fathers of Franklin Washington Jefferson Adams Hamilton Madison
would all disapprove of modern USA politics because they wanted religion
and christianity out of politics because they sensed that if you have
politics that embraces Science and Logic then you have the best politics
in the world. But if you have politics that gravitates towards religion
and church and bible then you have a political system that is weak on
decaying and degenerating.
So what WAshington DC needs is a huge moment to Ben Franklin for I am
sure that everyone in the colonies in 1776 knew BEn and that it was BEn
who guided Washington, guided Jefferson, guided Adams, guided the
patriots. If Washington was the father of the USA, then Franklin was the
Grandfather of the USA. And the fact that the people of the USA have
nothing in memory on a large scale for Ben Franklin is sour testimony
that the people of the USA have a sour and defective heart.
In the AtomTotality theory where God is the entire cosmos itself which
is a big atom of plutonium-- 231Pu specifically, then the motions in
this universe are Superdeterminism where the neutrons and protons in the
nucleus have humans as puppets on strings. So that every action of
history was fated by the neutron and proton gods sitting in the nucleus
of 231Pu. I bring this up because Jefferson died on the very same day
that Adams died -- 4 July. Most people would say it was a pure
coincidence. I would say that in an Atom Totality with superdeterminism
that Jefferson and Adams were fated by God and fated to die on the exact
same day and that God was particularly focus on human history of the USA
in making its founding fathers as Scientists and Logical men.
But in present day, God is now not favoring the USA as much as it did in
1770s. Our country is falling into religion. Our country is opposed to
science in Global Warming, in stem cell research, in biology of human
cloning, in wasting time on tokamak physics. Our country is lurching
away from science and embracing religion which was exactly opposite of
1770s where they embraced science and clear thinking logic and kept
church and religion tucked away into the corners.
Some people ought to form a organization to erect a huge monument in
Washington DC for Ben Franklin. I recommend a statue where Franklin is
tinkering around with Leyden jars.
