I can kind of understand that, and I do agree with at least a LITTLE of
what Uncle Al has to say. I, too, lament the decline of programs to
help the gifted. However, I also totally support the programs that
help those not so fortunate. Not being a genius is no more of a crime
than being one. Besides, sometimes a person who appears not to be so
clever when young, turns out to be pretty smart after all. As I recall,
Einstein's teachers thought he was pretty hopeless.
