Hi Dave,
Maybe you have another way of looking at this. I'd like to hear it. If
my presumptions are wrong, I _do_ want to know it.

So far as I can see, mankind is an opportunist. Geothermal is about
electrical generation. The connection between electric energy and
transportation energy is tenuous at best. Look at what gets what:

We, the U.S., have hundreds of years of coal. The North American
continent has a most incredible store of sand and tar oil. It makes
Opec's reserves look like a flash in the pan.

Read my previous posts. We don't commute on electricity, (though I think
it would be a very good idea to move toward that).
