So how to take the effective crossection for absorption
and directly alter it?

Mix thorium and uranium to cause the asymetric double
atoms. And then compress them so maybe 10% of the
pairs are actually uranium/thorium.

And here the 10 Mev required single neutron is the
invention. A high energy neutron will make the
special pair go bang fission as a single interaction.

A critical energy is 10 MeV.

While the enormity of the discovery is quite
real. Why does pair ansiotropy cause the
small neutron number??

ouch. The bang threshold lowers dramtically.

how dramatic is one?

So why worry about enrichmnent worrries?
