Radar is already used to examine NEO's. You use powerful radar
transmitters to send a signal, then use sensitive radio telescopes to
detect the return signals.
The SKA is intended to be used to detect NEO's (and potential Earth
impactors) to greater distances and smaller sizes than currently
possible using this method.
I wanted to know if it can also be used to search for asteroids close
in to the Sun.
