Well said, Albert! Orwell, whether one agrees with his politics or
not, was a nonconformist who would today be crucified by the
physics-engineering community for daring to deviate from the mainstream
popularity contest. Even in the physics-engineering communities,
nonconformists tend to get the Creative Genius ideas and Ingenious
Imitators "borrow" them. This is a sense in which the good is buried
and the evil lives on.
