I've been told that Serway & Faughn is a good book for learning
physics.
Are there many people that agree?
Because I like a good book, that explanes stuff from the beginning
(experiments, theories etc.), and not just states laws. I like to know
why things behave the way they do. and a recent writing that not
conlfilcts old (wrong) principles with new findings... and not too
basic...
thanx very much!
