Reference? The highest temperature I've heard thermophiles thriving at is
115 degrees C. It's a big jump to 200, and then another big one to the ~480
degrees C of Venus. I doubt anything would be able to cope with such
increases. Even if we artificially selected for temperature, I suspect it
would take a long time, if ever, to get life used to Venus.
