Is the lab in a high or low state of absolute motion?
It's attached to the earth, which is rotating at high
speed and rushing around the sun, which is in turn in
motion through the galaxy.
If something appears to be moving at high speed in the
lab but from the point of view of the sun is sitting
still while the lab rushes by under it, is it in
higher or lower absolute motion than the lab?
