I went to a German kindergarten in Partenkirchen (Garmisch) and Frankfurt
American High School. Hadn't heard the terms "primary" and "secondary"
used at those times.
This is like when someone berated me for not knowing "civics". "Say
what?!" Civics. Heck I had to look that up and the closest thing I recall
was "Social Studies", though it seem quite broader.
