You know, Hanson, I almost can't resist telling you the truth. The
"working class" since Marx thought they had a good thing going,
although it was born in the same anger that the violent French
Revolution of the late 1700s was born in. Some of them really tried
hard to achieve their ideals, though they ignored the questions like
Power-Materialism, Sensation-Materialism,
Nepotism-Friendship-Materialism ("friendship above Ethics,") and even
Greed-Materialism as it applied to themselves. But the truth is that
some other very Rare people also had a good thing going called
Survival. They were the Jews, the longest surviving Rare People on
the planet. They survived without anger and hatred in ghettoes mostly
in Europe after the fall of the ancient Kingdoms of Israel and Judea,
super-fearful of others but not angry, afraid to defend themselves
mostly, always Victims rather than Victimizers whether of the Ukrainian
and Russian pogroms or of the Spanish Inquisition or the Ancient Roman
massacre of Massada (for the Ancient Romans actually hated Jews!). So
when Marx led to Lenin and Stalin, Jews were also busy trying to
survive via repopulating Israel (although some Jews had remained there
since Ancient times) and migrating to the USA.

Well, the long and short of it was that the "working class" didn't
calculate the Jewish survival into their plans. They thought that the
Jews would submerge their identities for the "workers", just as workers
submerge their identities for union leaders and corporations submerge
their identities for major stockholders and CEOs and CFOs. As for
Israel, it just wanted to survive and let the survivors and relatives
of the survivors of the Holocaust survive. The USA alone of all the
nations identified with Israel. No, the Jews didn't instigate
capitalism or Colonialism or even big corporations, just as they didn't
instigate feudalism which robbed them and humiliated them. The USA
broke ranks with what became the U.N., and now the USA and U.K. and
Australia and Italy are a Rare and small minority in the world together
with Israel, opposed by the U.N. majority that is incredibly
bureaucratic, corrupt, angry, blind.

As for anger, take my word for it: always bet on fear rather than
anger, on self-blame rather than blaming others. Or you can take
Melanie Klein's word for it - look her up on the internet.
Fascinating person. A class act from the U.K. and previously from
Austria.
