That is not the anthropic principle.
The anthropic princle basically says that the reason the universe has
the unique properties we observe that are ideal for the support of
human life is that, if it had different properties human life would
likely not have developed, and we would not be here to observe the
properties of the universe and wonder at their origins.
I can never remember though if that is the strong, or the weak
anthropic principle. Anyone?
