Complex numbers is the ether to Newtonian Mechanics Re: duality in physics, not tri-ality, implies that only Riemannian and Lobachevskian geometries exist and that Euclidean is not a geometry

The history of mathematics from Pythagoras to 1990 is a history that reminds
one of the parallel history of physics-- the history from Newton to 1920.

Natural Numbers as finite-integers are as rusty and deluded as Newtonian
Mechanics with its absolute time and absolute space and ether.

Quantum Mechanics put life back into physics starting around the 1920s and
revolutionized physics.

Sad to say that mathematics has never really had a house cleaning revolution.
Math is infested with people who are ultraconservative and boring and dumb
type of people. They pride themselves on logic and reason and rationality, yet
they seldom if ever put logic and reason to their own subject.

A great part of the problem is that history has given mathematicians a "fat
hubris head". History has falsely told the math community that math is greater
than physics and will someday subsume physics. But they have got it all
twisted up in the wrong direction. Physics is king and mathematics is a tiny
closet subcompartment of physics. Physics gives birth to mathematics. Physics
is why pi has a numerical value of 3.14.... because the entire cosmos is an
atom of plutonium which has in rational form 22subshells divided by 7 shells
and why e in rational form is 19subshells in 7 shells. Numbers exist only
because atoms are numerous. Space gives rise to geometry and not the other way
around. Space of course is the space of electrons.

So I want to talk briefly today about File 109 which used to have a title
concerning Reals/Complex.

Since the Reals are really the points of Lobachevskian geometry, then what
should we make of the historical past where i was attached to the Reals to
make the Complex numbers and the Complex plane?

Well, to me it was a case of Epicycle patching that Ptolemy started to keep a
geocentric and flat Earth alive.

Sure the complex numbers have aided physics. But so also has the ether idea
aided physics and it was found out that there simply was no ether. The flat
earth idea helped people for thousands of years even though it was wrong.

So I am going to ask any and all serious people of mathematics. Step back from
mathematics and ask yourself the question of whether this plugging in of a
special number of imaginary i to yield complex numbers and the Complex plane
and think about whether that flows naturally as a true idea.

To me the imaginary i and the complex numbers are epicycle add-ons to
mathematics. The same as Newton with the idea of absolute space or absolute
time. Imaginary i is similar to the physics history of dreaming up the ether
which in hindsight now was a preposterous notion.

Physics is ruled by Duality which comes from atomic physics of Quantum theory.
Duality means that there exists only 2 valid number systems. One of them are
infinite strings rightward REals and the other are infinite strings leftward,
Adics. That means the Doubly-Infinites are nonsense and imaginary i is
nonsense and Complex numbers are nonsense.

However, there does exist a natural-i in the Adics of the 5-adics which I
should make note of. There exists a pi and e in Reals but not in Adics.

One of the reasons I spent the majority of the decade of the 1990s and the
first 5 years of 2000 with my time on physics and the other sciences and not
on mathematics is because I learn fast. And I learned around 1995 that
mathematics was the slowest and most unreasonable science in existence. Even
pyschology or sociology or economics are pacesetters compared to the corrupt
and ultraconservative math community. And the reason behind this corruption is
because all the other sciences except mathematics has *Experiments* for proof.
In math, a proof is what a judgemental few deem as a proof. In physics, the
only proof is whether the experiments confirm the idea.

So I tell everyone who ever wants to enter science, that they be wise to stay
away from mathematics because it is the most judgemental of the sciences and
the least important of the sciences.
