 Greens answer to "what will it do for me?"--was unique--he said that
this knowledge would (could) provide answers about before big bang--and
suggested that perhaps when this issue is resolved, God may not have a
job (my words, my interpretation). Letterman then said something
like--or at least we'd know how God did it--to which Green said, yes,
if you prefer to look at it that way. So is "string" the thing?
