Stills work because alcohol has a lower vaporization temperature than
water and will vaporize before the water does.

By turning a rock into a plasma you've vaporized everything.

Another way of course is electrolysing them and let oxygen

What has this to do with a plasma?

How do you keep them apart while they are cooling?

How do you get a local temperature hotter than a 93 million mile distant
energy source?
