Also, wind resistance is not the only problem. Water currents are going
to decide where the berg goes. Remember that most of the thing is below
the surface, and water is a lot denser. If there is any significant
ocean current, the berg is going where the ocean current goes. And
you are not going to be able to do a damn thing about it with any
existing six boats, or sixty boats.
And if the wind and the ocean are going different directions, not a
rare situation, the thing is going to bust up into smaller parts in
pretty quick order. This is because the difference will force a
water flow across the bottom of the berg, and that will both stress
the sucker and etch channels in it. So you will very shortly have
many much smaller chunks.
