| Hi
| I am a high school juinor with a life long interest in physics
| I was wondering what are reasons to major in physics
| What jobs can you get with a physics degree?
| Is it too hard to get, like do people drop out?
| What are the typical requirments for the degree
| thanks

Do yourself a favor and learn electronics along with physics. And to do
electronics you will need to know some mechanical engineering/physics
also. There is always and will always be a big demand for good
electronic systems engineers. Knowing physics can go hand in hand with
that. I am an electronic systems engineer for audio/video and related
computer systems and make much more than most physics Ph.D's. But I am
a go-getter. I have a gravy job. I usually like going to work each day
also. Know your field of expertise better than anyone else. Be on the
cutting-edge as much as possible.
