Jschroet--I see you've posted a similiar question regarding computer
science, engineering, math, and geology on other news groups. You need
some help.

Most people in your position have no idea what they want to do to earn
a living. Remember though, what ever you choose it will be work--if it
were fun, it would be called "fun." I've never heard anyone say--I'm
going to fun--but I'm going to work-yes.

In the real world, your pay is based on production. No one will pay you
200K a year for 50K in production. No new car from dad, no allowance
for a weekend date. If you want the big money--you have to
produce--over and over again--and this causes stress. I've heard a few
people say they enjoyed there jobs--very few.

So to your question--what do you think you might like to do to earn a
living where you can produce something of value? Specialization is
usually good--look in the paper--check internet job listings--do you
see alot of want adds for math and physics types--some. Engineers,
computer expertise yes. My youngest daughter wanted to be a writer--I
said sure--but not if I'm paying for the education. She became a
Mechanical Engineer and now can write if she chooses.

Bottomline--it's your choice. Choose well grasshopper! ;-)
